Before you search
[ ] Write down your dates, maximum rent and total monthly housing budget.
[ ] Choose your workplace or daily destination as the starting point for the commute.
[ ] Flag pets, accessibility, work setup and who will sign the agreement.

At the viewing
[ ] Verify the exact unit and current photos, including furniture that will stay.
[ ] Test the station walk and check noise, daylight, air-conditioning and internet arrangements.
[ ] Ask who handles repairs, building access and urgent problems after move-in.

Before paying or moving
[ ] Review the written rent, advance payment, deposit, bills and exit conditions.
[ ] Confirm the payment recipient and obtain the agreed receipts.
[ ] Agree key collection, meter readings, inventory and dated condition photos.
